    Hee hee hee! Haha…!

    What?! Am
I the only one who’s gonna admit this act of mine?!

  • Coreysmom // January 13, 2009 at 7:51 pm

I know that I am not the only one who clicked where i shouldn’t.

And, tyes, I am an addict…

Think I will start a blog called Computer Addicts Anonymous…
Let you all know the URL when it’s up.

  • Marinade Dave // January 13, 2009 at 7:51 pm

You know, I can’t tell who’s been to this page, but I can count them all up every day. I get a big kick out of it. A friend e-mailed it to me and I just couldn’t resist.

  • Marinade Dave // January 13, 2009 at 7:52 pm

    Please do!

  • Coreysmom // January 13, 2009 at 7:53 pm

    It’s a hoot, Dave!

I’m laughing so hard I can’t see my keyboard to correct the typos! The tears!

  • Marinade Dave // January 13, 2009 at 7:55 pm

Thanks, Coreysmom. I like to think I have a good sense of humor. I do try to write funny stories sometimes.

  • Coreysmom // January 13, 2009 at 8:00 pm

I gotta go find another sucker to click here where they shouldn’t.

Gotta put up your link at the Caylee Daily Backroom2.

  • Marinade Dave // January 13, 2009 at 8:09 pm

Please do, and thank you so much for the link at Caylee Daily Backroom2?

  • Coreysmom // January 13, 2009 at 9:11 pm

At The Caylee Daily ther is a link to the Backroom2 at the header. Pop in sometime. We serve coffee. At the Nancy Grace thread, we serve drinks. Margauritas tonight.

  • Marinade Dave // January 13, 2009 at 9:15 pm

Thanks, I will. It’s too late for coffee, but a drink doesn’t sound bad. Too bad I’m a diabetic, though. A margarita has too much sugar. Maybe, I’ll just do a shot or two.

  • Coreysmom // January 13, 2009 at 9:40 pm

I have uncontrolled hypertension. The salt, which adds to the drink, puts me over the edge quicker than the alcohol!

Yes, I see that you are a diabetic. But you are able to find good, flavorful foods to eat?

    Prunes, yummy!

  • Marinade Dave // January 13, 2009 at 10:42 pm

Yes, I eat things I shouldn’t sometimes, but I rarely drink alcohol any more. For one thing, I take a diabetes medication that slows down glucose production in the liver. I don’t need to say what alcohol does to the liver. Combined, I could get very sick. It’s safer to just say no.

  • Coreysmom // January 13, 2009 at 10:56 pm

I will have to check out your articles on diabetes.

  • Ina // January 15, 2009 at 5:33 pm

I did look down, I didnot see this part of this blog :) So I cannot comment.

  • Marinade Dave // January 15, 2009 at 8:37 pm

    Sure. Wink Wink Wink

  • Bunny // January 16, 2009 at 11:11 pm

    Male or Female?
You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female. Here are some examples:

FREEZER BAGS are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

PHOTOCOPIERS are female, because once turned off it takes a while to warm them up again. They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong Buttons.

TIRES are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated

HOT AIR BALLOONS are a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their butt.

SPONGES are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.

WEB PAGES are female, because they’re constantly being looked at and frequently getting hit on.

TRAINS are definitely male, because they always use the same old lines for picking up people.

EGG TIMERS are female because, over time, all the weight shifts to the bottom.

HAMMERS are male, because in the last 5000 years, they’ve hardly changed at all, and are occasionally handy to have around.

THE REMOTE CONTROL: Female. Ha! You probably thought it would be male, but consider this: It easily gives a man pleasure, he’d be lost without it, and while he doesn’t always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying

  • Ina // January 17, 2009 at 3:24 am

:) Funny, Bunny! A Bunny is always female ofcourse. Or they wouldnot be in the Playboy.
    Except for Bugs.

  • Marinade Dave // January 17, 2009 at 8:46 am

Interesting and funny, Bunny. And a front door is… Oh, never mind.

  • Newbie // January 17, 2009 at 11:29 am

Okay you all, I can see I am behind on the fun!!!

  • Marinade Dave // January 17, 2009 at 11:58 am

Yes, Newbie, but you caught right up to us. Gotcha, huh?

  • Newbie // January 17, 2009 at 12:33 pm

    Yep!!
I didn’t see anything on how the second blood test turned out or the results from the x-ray. Do you not know yet?

My original plans when leaving got turned upside down….I ended up at two different locations which did not have a computer. I actually watched Nancy Grace while gone!! Ugh.

  • Marinade Dave // January 17, 2009 at 12:42 pm

I go back to the doctor Tuesday morning at 10:45 to get the results of the x-rays and blood work.

Nancy Grace can be very caustic at times. I think a lot of it is hype to stir up trouble and increase her ratings. She tries to stir the the pot too much, in my opinion. Occasionally, I’ll watch her, but I’m not a big fan. She rehashes old stuff and riles her fans to hate everything about the Anthonys and all of their attorneys. She is sort of like the Bill O’Reilly of CNN, with particular emphasis on the Anthonys. At the same time, she has exposed some pretty interesting stuff.

  • Filipa // January 24, 2009 at 5:11 pm

    You got me today!

  • Marinade Dave // February 13, 2009 at 5:47 pm

How I missed your comment is beyond me, Magog2. It must have come in when suddenly I was getting a lot of responses from the George post. I’m sorry about that, but I almost always find them in the end.

I hope it made you feel a little naughtier.

  • magog2 // February 14, 2009 at 6:06 pm

Well when it said do not click here of course I had too. It’s a woman thing I guess!!

  • Marinade Dave // February 14, 2009 at 6:10 pm

It’s not just for women, Magog. Did you read the comments?

  • jessy // February 17, 2009 at 2:40 am

‘don´t clic here” this is an old trick…God invented it..”Don´ touch that tree”. You see what hapened? Even to this day all the cleregy is laghfing all the way to the banks..saying that good is evil…that evil is good… give them money and they will make evil good if not they will make good evil… just be bad and help a pastor or a priest or a raby to get a job, just dont give them any money…just be good, look around and give a smile, piece of brad, money or a nice word to the one next to you. Become the tree , let somebody touch you and eat from your fruits… I am a free lance social worker here in Brasil… where we sometimes pay to serve…simple living, joy and peace…I found the fountain of youth…What is it? I will tell you…just come down here…we need volunters to get kids off drugs, prostitution, teach english, computers, teach human values and to show love…pax vobis. jessy

  • Marinade Dave // February 17, 2009 at 9:22 am

Yup, the old “Don’t touch me” trick for the computer age.

If preachers are evil, and evil is good, aren’t preachers good?

I’d love to visit Brazil, but there are murders and abductions to solve!

  • Karen Harding // February 22, 2009 at 6:41 pm

  • Steph // February 26, 2009 at 6:15 am

    Marinade Dave,

By far, the best blog site I have stumbled upon concerning the Caylee Anthony case. I have been searching for a forum in which to read and post intelligent, thought provoking comments about this case. Yes, this bizarre case has captured me like no other, and I find myself facinated and addicted to each and every new development. Thanks to you and your regular bloggers for such an informative and very refreshing venue in which to share and discuss the Anthony case. I would love to be a part of this group! Can’t wait to get home this evening and read today’s comments. Thanks again Dave and company, I absoutely enjoyed reading all of your comments. Have a great day!

  • Marinade Dave // February 26, 2009 at 9:42 am

    Good morning, Steph -

Thank you very much for the compliment regarding my blog. I am lucky that so many exceptional commenters have become such a central part of it, too. Thank you for wanting to join in. There is absolutely no need to ask or anything. Just chime in, anywhere, on any post. Everyone is welcome here and I very much look forward to reading your thoughts on this tragedy. Thank you for expressing your interest, Steph, and feel right at home.

  • Sandy // February 26, 2009 at 2:56 pm

When I see something that says don’t click here that’s the first thing I do…One of these days someone will probably have the site you are redirected to laced with a virus to disable my computer….good thing I know how to fix them…lol Good one as you can see I fell for it!!

  • Marinade Dave // February 26, 2009 at 3:02 pm

You wouldn’t believe me if I told you how many people have fallen for it, Sandy. Believe me, I get just as much of a kick out of it as you did.

  • Weezie // February 26, 2009 at 3:28 pm

must be a dull day. Where’s the beef?

  • Redrelaxed // March 6, 2009 at 4:56 am

    Hi Marinade Dave,

Just found you tonight as I was searching for information about Annie Downing, oh about three hours ago.

I’m from BC, and have been following the Caylee Anthony case from the onset. Your blog is by far the best I’ve come across! Great folks here.

Your description of Caylee’s memorial service was so heartfelt and genuine, thank you for sharing your sentiments with your beautiful open mind.

I fear I am hooked, and will be back tomorrow. There is so much unbiased info here, feels like a gentle place to be for such a terrible tragedy.

    Heading to bed, good night.

    Red

PS – Had to click that button!

  • Marinade Dave // March 6, 2009 at 8:54 am

Thank you, Redrelaxed, and welcome to the blog. I hope you enjoy reading the posts and comments. Yes, most of the commenters are very nice and they have great ideas. Sometimes, it gets a little heated, but it settles down. Please stay as long as you like and write a few words.

Here is a test you can take to see if you have an addiction to the Internet:
