An old friend of mine told me something many years ago. He comes with incredible credentials, too. Bill was a radio guy. He was a TV guy. He was a DJ, a reporter, a news director, turned general manager of a network affiliate, now retired. I have absolutely no reason not to believe him.
Jesse Jackson rolled into town one day. My friend was covering the story. Part of that story was not fit to print, let alone convey over family friendly air waves.

It’s one thing to God damn America, in the immortal and immoral words of the “right” Reverend Jeremiah Wright, but here’s a God fearing preacher who not only made off-color comments, he denigrated women.
Poor Barack Obama. He’s got to deal with the likes of those two, plus the ever fancy, Reverend Al Sharpton. What’s it take to become a man of the AfrOmerican cloth these days? A SWEARING in ceremony?

Political Correctness Alert! I know most preachers, of all faiths and colors, don’t use such language, but Jackson and Wright stick out like sore thumbs. Ministers of God are the last people you would expect to get censored. Of course, white conservative evangelists just get caught having steamy gay sex while condemning that sort of lifestyle. At least, Jesse Jackson likes women, not that there is anything wrong with that.
